OC AD Enviro500

The OC (Ottawa-Carleton) Transpo, formerly the Ottawa-Carleton Transportation Commission, provides transit services for the city of Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. The first transportation system began in 1886 with horse-drawn streetcars. The fleet has since grown from 36 horses to over 900 vehicles.

The Alexander Dennis Enviro500 is a double-decker bus built by Alexander Dennis (formerly TransBus), a bus and coach manufacturer in the United Kingdom. The bus is capable of carrying over 100 passengers, with the same footprint as a single deck bus with a lower fuel consumption per passenger carried. Heavy duty air conditioning makes the passenger journey more comfortable, as well as Wi-Fi connectivity, individual reading lights and reclining seats.
